Khandker Sadia Arafin, Senior Assistant Secretary, Cabinet Division was born in 19 June 1976 in Dhaka. She has been graduated from Dhaka University in Geology. She achieved Dean's Honor due to her outstanding academic excellence. She has joined in Bangladesh Civil Service in 2005 as an Assistant Commissioner and served in many key positions of the Government both in field administration and in the Ministry. Later she has achieved Masters in Public Policy from Professional School of Governance, Meiji University under JDS Scholarship. She has attended different training on governance in home and abroad. She has visited many countries including Thailand, Japan, United Kingdom, Malaysia, India as a part of official tour. She is a committed public official with a vision to serve the nation in every respect. She is a member of Bangladesh Administrative Assiciation, JDS Alumnai Association and 24th BCS Administration Association. She is co-author of 4 articles publish in national and international journals and author of a number of post editorial. Currently she has been working as desk officer on Right to Information Section in Cabinet Division.
